I had to post one of DJ Revolution’s online radio show, The Cut. The episodes are amazing and that’s why I have to write about him.
DJ Revolution, aka Rev, has been dominating turntables all over the nation. The California native is mostly known for his turntablism skills of quick and complex scratches that make a generic rap song feel authentic. But if Rev is playing the song, it’s not likely it’ll be generic (he keeps it real…son!).

Rev continues to be relevant with his show, The Cut, and sidekick, KB Imean. On the show, Rev deejays or has special guest DJs and interviews rappers and producers. The Cut entertains many listeners, especially the ones he interacts with on the live chat room during the broadcast on BREAL.TV. The show has been getting positive responses on Mixcloud and thousands of viewers on YouTube. BREAL.TV airs The Cut on Thursdays at 9pm PST.
2013 must be one of his busiest years. Besides his constant DJ gigs, collaborations with emcees, producers and other artists while making his own music; competing on the DJ reality show, Master of the Mix, and being a music director for radio stations, Rev is now on the mic. Earlier this year, aside from Rev’s own show, the reemergence of the popular 90’s hip-hop west coast radio program, The Wake Up Show. The show feature MTV’s Sway and back in the day’s radio partners, DJ King Tech and Rev. The Wake Up Show graces the satellite airwaves on Shade 45 on Mondays at 5pm PST.
